Immediate Community Assistance Programs

  • MI Bridges:

  • This is an online platform that streamlines the application process for many state funded assistance programs: healthcare coverage, cash assistance, food assistance programs, state of emergency relief fund, and child development care.

  • This is also where you can submit the online mandated reporter form

  • It connects you with state and local resources associated with various life events (having a baby, moving or being evicted, losing a job, becoming a foster parent, etc.).

  • They also have options to connect you with a navigator to help you use MI bridges.

  • Michigan Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program

  • Emergency Utility Relief

  • Immediate help may be available if you are facing conditions of extreme hardship or emergencies threatening your health and safety. State Emergency Relief helps pay heat and electric.
